Marie-Claude Chamberland studied theater at Cegep de Saint-Hyacinthe and classical singing with Winston Purdy of McGill University. She has sung various opera roles and appeared with symphony orchestras. In 2007, she performed one of the leading parts in Synfunia. This was where her interest in clowning started, and since the she has gradually reoriented her career toward performances as a singer, actor and clown, including parts in several circus productions, one of them directed by Guy Caron.
